A book on “PROPER USES OF MEDICINE’’ written by Muhamamd Arifur Rahman, Assistant Professor, Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University is published in ‘EKUSAY BOOK FAIR 2014’ that is available in TUMPA PROKASHONI (Stall No. 308). This book not only discuss about the rational uses of medicine on different views such as pharmacological, therapeutic, Islamic etc. but also the future prospects of pharmacist in pharmaceutical sectors of Bangladesh.

ওষুধ জীবনধারনের অতি প্রয়োজনীয় উপাদান। মানুষ স্বভাবতই ওষুধের উপর নির্ভরশীল। একদিকে বাড়ছে রোগ, অন্যদিকে আসছে নতুন নতুন ওষুধ। জীবন রক্ষার প্রয়োজনীয় উপাদান ওষুধ সঠিকভাবে ব্যবহার না হলে হয়ে যেতে পারে বিষ। ওষুধ ওষুধ হবে, নাকি বিষ তা ওষুধের সঠিক মাত্রায় ব্যবহারের উপর নিভর করে। ওষুধ নিয়ে মানুষের অসচেতনতার কারনে একটা প্রশ্ন সামনে চলে এসেছে তা হল, মানুষের জন্য ওষুধ নাকি ওষুধ এর জন্য মানুষ? গুনগত মানের ওষুধ এর সঠিক প্রয়োগ এবং অপব্যবহার সম্পর্কে সাধারণ মানুষকে সচেতন করার লক্ষে প্রকাশিত হল গুরুত্বপূর্ণ এই বইটি।
এ বইটিতে ওষুধের বিভিন্ন দিকগুলো  আলোচনা করা হয়েছে, যা জানা থাকলে আপনি নিরাপদ ভাবে ওষুধ ব্যবহার করতে পারবেন, (টুম্পা প্রকাশনী,৩৮/২ক বাংলাবাজার, অমর একুশে বই মেলা ২০১৪, স্টল-৩০৮)
