Those who paid money to test the first versions of Google Glass may not be just guinea pigs regarding the eye-wear technology. They may also be testing how Glass may or may not be accepted in society, thanks to its video camera and Web connectivity features. Health, safety and privacy issues are getting the attention of everyone from lawmakers and advertisers to physicians, who are worried about the potential consequences of wearable computing.
