Title: Characteristics of International armed conflict:
Post by: AbdurRahim on August 10, 2014, 02:05:58 PM
Characteristics of International armed conflict: An International Armed conflict exists when there is protracted armed violence between two States. A non-international armed conflict may rise to the level of international armed conflict when a foreign State effectively controls the opposing faction to the conflict, or one of the parties to the armed conflict act on behalf of a foreign state.127

What is the differences between armed conflict and international armed conflict? Does it only lie between involvement of a foreign state or states together?

In fact, literally there is no difference between the armed conflict and international armed rather there is difference between the international armed conflict and non-international armed conflict. Also there exists slight difference between the non-international and internal armed conflict  :)
