Title: Proper meaning of University

Hope you are having good time all the way. I was wondering " What does university refer? Probably an institution of higher learning providing facilities for teaching and research and authorized to grant academic degrees.

But from my point of view, University means knowledge of the universe and its surroundings.. Actually it means a lot..no boundaries for knowledge..It could be based on text book as well as any recent events which is relevant with the topic.

My question is " Are we practicing regularly and attentively all these stuffs in our university such as- following text book, gathering knowledge about recent events that can be helpful to us, solving any subject based cases?

May I know how far our faculty members are encouraging us to go on with these things.

How far we( the students) are accepting these things. If we still have not felt the importance of the real meaning of university, we'll not going to last long in the job markets.
