Dear sir
Assalamualikum, I feel proud one of the students in daffodil International University.
The student of DIU complete only five major course. Personaly I think it is not sufficient to give more knowledge about specific major course. If increase in major course more than five then student will achieve more knowledge, And their confidence level will high. So they are more competence in any other universities student.

Yes ,Mr. polash i agree with you about this matter.Increasing the no.of major subject increases the cofidence level and will help to be the specialist on the major subject.So authority can give the importancy and take this matter as a consideration.

If you want to know more, you can also study yourself. From the core courses, functional courses and five major courses we can understand what to study and the way we can enrich our knowledge. From DIU library and internet resources it is very easy to study. If you want you can learn. All the best. :)

Dear Mr. Palash:
Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) students are doing 40 courses. Twenty six as core course, nine as functional and five as major courses of them. I think this are enough for a bachelor degree. If we are studied perfectly of these 40 courses including 5 major courses then we can gather vast of knowledge.
If your expectation can not fulfill then you can do self study. Six major courses may depressed others students.

I want to add one thing that we have a scope to take more than 5 major course. There is no obligation. If you want, you can cover 2 major discipline like Accounting and Finance. Some of my friends are doing so.

If we compare University Of Dhaka vs our university then we see University Of Dhaka takes 10 major course whereas our University takes 5 major course. That is big distinction University Of Dhaka vs our university in this matter.
You also say 26 core, 9 functional course and 5 major course are enough to enter vast knowledge. But I can't agree with you.
You say self study to learn more knowledge in this matter I do agree with you.

Bachelors of Business Administration(BBA)is common department in the whole university.Every university public and private & various institute ,college are reading BBA subject . normally major course are accounting ,finance ,marketing , management but at the modern time top university are reading the new major course
such as , Human Resources management(HRM ), International Relation ship (IR),International business(IB) ete . I mind that increase the major course is more essential because new course learnt more knowledge , job opportunity high and most of the time competition is low .

For your kind information, DIU also conduct Human Resource Management (HRM) as major part of BBA program and International Business as functional course. International relationship is may not a part of BBA.

Here I like to add each and every students should choose his major first and then he should take his core and functional courses related with the major course.
The number of major courses increase will not increase you knowledge if you failed to gather knowledge from your core and functional courses.So choose the goal then try to achieve the goal.
