Online giants including Amazon and LinkedIn could be doing far more to raise awareness of the need for better password practices among their users, a study has found. The research revealed that very few of them give detailed guidance about the importance of providing secure passwords, either when users were creating or updating accounts.

That would be great, because most of the people use "easy to break" password. However, in future these alphanumaric passwords wont be enough, amazon, linkedin would then require a retina scan, fingerprint scan or voice to enter into their online accounts.
