Post by: Shampa Iftakhar on April 23, 2015, 01:36:38 PM
Do you want to host guests  from abroad ? Do you want to share your home with strangers? Then couchsurfing will give you best opportunity. It is  a volunteer-based worldwide network connecting travelers with members of local communities, who offer free accommodation and advice.

To be a member you can visit the site

 https://www.couchsurfing.com/

or just search Couchsurfing on net. :)

I don't know why the idea never hit me quite right...like living in somebody else's place and letting others (strangers) stay in my place :/

Dear Madam,
It  is a kind of volunteer service. You must have a welcoming attitude to strangers. But before confirming one's request to host him, you can verify his or her personal details.

Yes, Tina madam.

Personally, I love to explore. I desire to meet and know people around the world. At times, it's hard to let them stay at my house because of many issues. I allowed one couple to stay in my residence. They were wonderful. :) At the same time, I  refused some requests. :( :(
