Title: English Speaking Club

Me, with my avanced level students in the English department, have arranged an English Speaking Club to improve students' English speaking proficiency. This is an open discussion session in which any student of English department can join. We meet every Thursday at 2.30pm for 1hour and 30 minutes. I am surprised that students are really interested to speak, we just need to make the space.

I am curious to know if they go through any activity or they just randomly come and speak...

Dear Rokon bhai,I am thinking of establishing English Speaking Club for individual departments so that students feel comfortable in their known atmosphere.This can be started since their inception in the university and can lasts up to their future needs.This can be a huge platform to practice and share on own way.This would definitely enhance teacher-student relationship as well.  :)

Thanks Tina madam for your nice replay but I think it is needed for all department .All the concern faculty members of Eng department(as many of them take 1st semester English class in different departments) may create some awareness regarding the importance of English among the new students so that they could understand ...............
