Title: Hadith

1. The man who is most hateful to God is the one who quarrels and disputes most. (Bukhari, Muslim).
 
2. The believer is not the one who eats his fill when the neighbour beside him is hungry. (Baihaqi).

3. The one who is most honourable in God's estimation is the pious.
(Bukhari, Muslim).

4. Avoid envy, for envy devours good deeds just as fire devours fuel.
(Abu Dawud).

5.He who is deprived of gentleness is deprived of good. (Muslim).

6. Allah will not show mercy to him who does not show mercy to others.
(Bukhari, Muslim).

7. He who has in his heart as much faith as a grain of mustard seed will not enter hell, and he who has in his heart as much pride as a grain of mustard seed will not enter paradise. (Muslim).

8. He who innovates something in which this matter of ours that is not of it will have it rejected. (Bukhari, Muslim).

9. None of you [truly] believes until he wishes for his brother what he wishes for himself. (Bukhari, Muslim).

10. Actions will be judged by intentions, and everyone will be recompensed according to what he intended. (Bukhari).

Kathir ibn 'Ubayd said, "Whenever a child was born among them, 'A'ishah would not ask if it were a boy or a girl. Instead she would ask, 'Is the child healthy (and without defect)?' If she was told, 'Yes,' she would say, 'Al-hamdulilah ar-Rabeel Alameen (All praise is for Allah, Lord of All the Worlds.'

Narrated Abu Huraira (May Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be pleased with the him) Allah's Apostle (May Peace and blessings and mercy of Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala be on him) said, "When the Imam says: 'Ghair-il-Maghdubi 'Alaihim Walad-Dallin (i.e. not the path of those who earn Your Anger, nor the path of those who went astray (1.7)), then you must say, 'Ameen', for if one's utterance of 'Ameen' coincides with that of the angels, then his past sins will be forgiven."

Narrated Sad (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "He who eats seven 'Ajwa dates every morning, will not be affected by poison or magic on the day he eats them."

ALLAH's Apostle (SALLALLAHU ALEIHI WASALLAM) said: Do you know what is backbiting? They (the Companions) said: ALLAH and His Apostle (SALLALLAHU ALEIHI WASALLAM) know best. Thereupon The Prophet (SALLALLAHU ALEIHI WASALLAM) said: Backbiting implies your talking about your brother in a manner which he does not like. It was said to him:... What is your opinion about this that if I actually find (that failing) in my brother which I made a mention of? He (SALLALLAHU ALEIHI WASALLAM) said: If (that failing) is actually found (in him) what you assert, you in fact backbited him, and if that is not in him it is a slander.

Slander : a false spoken statement about someone which damages their reputation, or the making of such a statement.

Sahih Muslim Hadith 6265 ; Narrated by : AbuHurayrah [RAZI ALLAHU ANHU]

"They question you about the Hour of Doom [O Mohammad], when will it come? But why should you be concerned with its exact timing? The final word concerning it belongs to your Lord. Your mission is merely to warn those who fear it. On the day when they see that hour, it will seem to them that their life on earth had spanned only one evening, or one morning."

Narrated Wathila bin Al-Asqa: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "Verily, one of the worst lies is to claim falsely tobe the son of someone other than one's real father, or to claim to have had a dream one has not had, or to attribute to me what I have not said."

And those saved from the covetousness of their own souls,- they are the ones that achieve prosperity.

He replied, “Taqwa of Allah and good conduct.” Then he was asked about the thing which will admit a man to Jahannum the most, and he answered, “The tongue and the private parts.”

The northern wind will blow and shower fragrance on their faces and clothes, and consequently, it will enhance their beauty and loveliness. They will then return to their wives who will also have increased in their beauty and loveliness

Hazrat Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah [peace be upon him) passed by a woman who was crying over a grave and said, "Fear Allah and be patient.'' She said, "Away from me! My calamity has not befallen you and you are not aware of it.'' The woman was later told that it was the Prophet (who had advised her). She came to his door where she found no doorkeeper. She said, "(I am sorry) I did not know you.'' Messenger of Allah said, "Patience is (becoming) only at the first (stroke) of grief".

"Allah the Almighty has said: 'O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me, and hope in Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds in the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I shall forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with an earthful of sins and were you then to face Me, without having associated anything with Me, I shall grant you an earthful of pardon.'" [Al-Tirmidhi]
