Dear Rasel
Thanks for initiating ELC. We have already shown the students a movie 'Ratatuilli'. They enjoyed it and took part in a quiz competition after the movie.
What next...
Can we organize a program announcing the winners? please come up with your brilliant ideas! I really appreciate your concern for the students!!

Dear Fatema Labone
Thank you for your reply. The next program can be on extempore speech.Below is the outline...
Topic: Extempore Speech
Criteria for selecting the winners:Length of time, accuracy, fluence and presentation style.
Panel of Judges: Coordinators of ELC
Extempore speech can be very interesting and effective for the students. We can select some topics and write on different pieces of scrap paper. Then we can ask the participants to take one scrap paper and open the fold to see the specific topic. The participants are supposed to speak on the specified topic for a couple of minutes.
Thanks

New efforts and initatives need to be taken to enhance activities at Uttara Campus.
-
Guess ,after the mid-term.
-
Extempore Speech is something very challenging for the students. But they find it interesting also.It increases the level of confidence as well.To deliver outstanding Extempore Speech, both vocabulary and ideas are necessary.I have seen- people who are good observers and love to talk on anything-are excellent in Extempore Speech.
I wish you all the best.

I hope your initiative will be successful. All the best

Dear Suraiya
I would highly appreciate if you kindly give me some suggestions about some new activities for ELC@UC
Thanks
-
Dear Rasel
Good attempt, I must say. What I've noticed that the students often feel discouraged to memorize a piece of poem. So read out a beautiful poem can be a good start regarding recitation.
Can they read music? A bright winter morning can be celebrated with songs of their choice.
Regarding role play: A situation can be presented before them to appreciate the paintings, the painter and express feelings. Before that some useful language for appreciation can be discussed, like, Amazing, isn't she?Beautiful!/Wonderful!/ Superb! etc.

Dear Rasel Sir,
Good endeavor!!!!!!! I hail and appreciate these. Because I know the students of Uttara well from the first time. All of them really possess good soul and they are seemed to me as little angels to me. And they are very much enthusiastic and they possess the zeal about doing cultural activities. If you arrange any new program, please write to me. I'll try my best to attend there virtually or physically.
I understand that you bring up my little angels well and you are are really good guardian to them.
Wish your success all the time.

It means you are always with Uttara campus
-
Dear Sir,
Yes!!!!!!!! I was, am and always will be attached with Uttara Campus.
It's a little heaven and all of them are angels.
Though I came from there physically, they are attached to my soul still.
Miss them always.
But the crude realty is that the distance can not keep me away from them emotionally.
