Don't say ; a year consists from 12 months .

Don't say ; The mountains are covered by snow .

==== confidence in , not on or to ====

Do not say: I am agree to your point.
Say: I agree to your point.

Happy to see the good post of Lima Ms. We often make mistake of this sort in our daily conversation. If we are a bit careful we can easily overcome the difficulties.The tips I'm going to suggest are apparently simple but helpful, I think.( for the learners)
a. Help each other learn English.
b. Communicate in English as much and as long as possible.
c. Think why you need English and concentrate on studying what is most useful for you.
d. Read as much as possible everyday.
e. Write at least one page of English every day.
f.  Keep an organized notebook.
g. Listen to English( e.g. BBC English; VOA Special English) everyday.
h. Check your errors and keep a record of them.

Thanks for your helpful posting.Although these are the points on which we always emphasize,still the way you have listed up them is superb.I think students will be benefited if they follow this checklist.

The way you have presented these methods of learning English as well as developing pronunciation and vocabulary- they are obviously helpful for the learners. I hope the students should follow them.

We can avoid common mistakes through different ways: for speaking we can listen to BBC or VOA
