William Wordsworth is perhaps most widely known for his poem ‘I Wandered Lonely as a Cloud’, which describes the host of dancing daffodils on the shores of Ullswater. Yet his lasting legacy comes not only from this, but also from his love of nature, and his dedication to sharing that love, in the hundreds of poems he composed during his lifetime. Wordsworth’s most notable works include the Lyrical Ballads, which was composed in partnership with Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and The Prelude, an autobiographical poem that Wordsworth worked on throughout his life.

The semi-autobiographical - 'The Prelude' is his masterpiece. We don't happen to have it in our syllabus. I just read an excerpt. It's wonderful!
