His name was Silas Marner
A solitary weaver of Raveloe,
Falsely accused for theft earlier,
Though he was a very nice fellow.

Worked very hard from dawn to late night
In this way he earned gold coins,
Seeing the gold coins his eyes became bright,
Those gold coins were seemed to him very precious jems.

After stealing his gold coins transformation came to his mind
Finding little Eppie he has found a great expectation,
He brought her up being so kind,
Eppie being the lively lady though he had no frustration.

Finally Eppie found her real father and she denied him,
Marner was a real foster father and she accepted him.

(This poem is written on the basis of the novel “Silas Marner” by George Eliot.)
