ROFL: Rolling of the floor laughing
TGIF: Thank God it’s Friday
HB2U: Happy birthday to you
SOB: Stressed out bad
Gr8: Great
TTYL: Talk to you later
ZZZ: Sleeping
IDK: I don’t know
CIAO: Goodbye (Italian word)
M8: Mate
NE1: Anyone
EOD: End of discussion
COS/COZ: Because
N2S: Needless to say
CUL8R: See you later

All these short forms are not universal.
