Know where your Nokia phone was made

Would you like to know if your NOKIA mobile is original or not?????

Press the following on your mobile *#06# and the-international mobile equipment identity

number appears. Then check the 7th and 8th numbers :

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 01 or 10 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Finland which is very Good

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 00 this means your cell phone was manufactured in original factory which is the best Mobile Quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 08 or 80 this means your cell phone was manufactured in Germany which is fair quality

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 13 this means your cell phone was assembled inAz erbaijan which is very Bad quality and also dangerous for your health

IF the Seventh & Eighth digits are 02 or 20 this means your cell phone was assembled in Emirates which is very Bad quality

My 7th and 8th digits are 02, means its from Emirates:((

Even then its giving good service for the last couple of years.

Thank you Sir for providing such a nice information. I have also checked my cell and the number has been identified as 04. But in your posting there is no reference of 04. So, i am unable to know the origin of my cell. If possible , please let me know about it.

Dear Sir,
my 7th and 8th digits are 04. This number is not given in your post.As far I know my Nokia handset is Chinese.

thank you sir for a really applicable post................I shortly applied the feature just after seeing the post & I found it that my nokia set is made of Finland.....(7th digit is 01).......I'm so glad to know that.........

It's a very good and helpful information to identify Bangladeshi Nokia phone set.

I checked two Nokia sets. One of them contains 00 and the other one's 7th and 8th digits are 04.

You did not give this 04 or 40 as a code. Please mention this ......which country it belongs to.

Thank you but it is only the assembling code for the country of  nokia phone but maximum hardware are made from nokia head office finland

and chaina and india

   Thank you for your informative data.I cheched my cell phone IME no but the 7th & 8th no of IME (04) is not matched with your mentioned digits.BUt MR a.k.azad...provided a http.I have already browsed this HTTP but there is a question about my Hand set ,,,Frequences....but how can i get frequencies of my HAND SET...Please inform me...

itis very easy just download nokia email application create an id then sign in with your email id
