DIU achieved membership from Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) for teaching and learning excellence. IEB (The Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh) accreditation provisions are in place for BSc in CSE and ETE. IEB accreditation of BSc in EEE, TE and SWE are under process at the moment.

DIU always focuses on Student exchange, Faculty exchange, Summer program, Internship, Research, dual degree program, Ph.D, e-Learning with leading international universities.
