Title: Wall Clock in Classroom

Assalamu Alaikum,

The classrooms of DIU are almost equipped with required devices to conduct the classes and exams smoothly. During the the class and specially at the time of exam,students usually make queries about the current time as most of the students don't wear wrist watches. if it is exam then sometimes confrontation occurs among the students about the said time by the teachers. A wall clock (secured in a small cage)in each classes will solve the problem easily and will help the students and teachers to conduct the overall activities smoothly.

I completely agree with Zinnatun Nesa mam. If our authority can arranged wall clock in every class room we the students are fenefited.

Thanks Mam...............you discovered a very conceptual thing...........that students need timer on the running time of their exam. So authority may consider the whole situation.............There must be a need lies upon students convenience..............

Adequate idea. Specially would serve best on exam times, since some students don't wear watches on their wrist. And also having no clock creates a confusion in the class, specially in regular classes when teacher(s) asks the students to know how much time is left, so that he/she could proceed with the study topic and in reply students say various times...

Thank you Mrs. Zinnatun Nesa mam. ... This idea should raise among from  the student, but you raised this idea. So,  Thank you again.

This is our basic need.  It will help to the students as well as faculty members.

Our class room has every type of equipment  like projector, PC, Scanner, whiteboard, etc. If the authority gives us a clock in each class then our class room will be 100% fulfill from every side.

I hope, We will see a clock in each class room from the next Spring-2011 semester.

i would like thank u madam and i just also want to say that when this wall clock system will start in the class room then i hope that its maintenance will also be done accordingly so that it may not happen that we have a clock but its not working...

Common Worldwide academic norm does not support clock in the classroom. Still we are reviewing its feasibility.

definitely you know better about the norms..................sir.......but still students needs this convenience....

Personally I cant even think to go out without wearing my wrist watch.Now a days about 99% students measure their time in their mobile phone rather than depending upon wrist watch which is most important specially during student life.The main problem arises cause mob phones are not allowed in the class room during exam but there is no restriction to wear wrist watch.And a wrist watch is less costly than a cell phone.

Obviously, we should not be reluctant in practicing the habit of wearing wrist watch.

I does not agree about this matter.
Everybody should use hand watch that there is no need to wall clock.

Thank you ...Mr.shamim ansery....,though common world wilde accademic norm does not support but many of students do not wear their wrist watch...actually it is a mistake of students...and  as a result in a exam hall many of us ask the teachers about Time....so we should be habituated to wear wrist watch.....beside wall clock is in every class room.....wall clock would be one kind of decoration....

Thank you mam.......totally agree with you......sometime we become confuse that how many times remaining and if the time will be finished............sometime our watch may slow than you it become so difficult to cope up with the time............so i want to request the authority to make a effective steps about this matter...................
