Title: Belief : Hadith 23

Narrated Al-Ahnaf bin Qais:

While I was going to help this man ('Ali Ibn Abi Talib), Abu Bakra met me and asked, "Where are you going?" I replied, "I am going to help that person." He said, "Go back for I have heard Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) saying, 'When two Muslims fight (meet) each other with their swords, both the murderer as well as the murdered will go to the Hell-fire.' I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam)! It is all right for the murderer but what about the murdered one?' Allah's Messenger (sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) replied, "He surely had the intention to kill his companion."

‘আবদুর রহমান ইব্‌নুল মুবারক (র) .......... আহনাফ ইব্ন কায়স (র) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, আমি (সিফফীনের যুদ্ধে) এ ব্যক্তিকে [আলী (রা)-কে] সাহায্য করতে যাচ্ছিলাম। আবূ বাক্রা (রা)-এর সাথে আমার সাক্ষাত হলে তিনি বললেনঃ ‘তুমি কোথায় যাচ্ছে?’ আমি বললাম, ‘আমি এ ব্যক্তিকে সাহায্য করতে যাচ্ছি।’ তিনি বললেনঃ ‘ফিরে যাও। কারন আমি রাসূলুল্লাহ্ (সা) কে বলতে শুনেছি যে, দু’জন মুসলমান তাদের তরবারি নিয়ে মুখোমুখি হলে হত্যাকারী এবং নিহত ব্যক্তি উভয়ে জাহান্নামে যাবে।’ আমি বললাম, ‘ইয়া রাসূলুল্লাহ্! এ হত্যাকারী (তো অপরাধী), কিন্তু নিহত ব্যক্তির কি অপরাধ? তিনি বললেন, (নিশ্চয়ই) সে তার সঙ্গীকে হত্যা করার জন্য উদগ্রীব ছিল।’

This Hadit not yet perfect at all. The consequence is dissimilar as per write up and presenter.
