Cucumber is a very healthy vegetable that works wonders on your organism, stimulates metabolism, and cleans your digestive system. It helps your body get rid of the excess water and it is recommended for individuals who are trying to detoxify their body fully, especially if their regular diet consists of processed, canned or salty food. Cucumber is known for skin care as well – when applied topically, on your face for example, it can help with acne.The diet in question uses cucumber as its main ingredient, and overall it’s fairly easy, it only requires that you adhere to a basic list of meals, and follow it by heart. Whenever you’re hungry or peckish, you can eat a whole cucumber to take the edge off. If you follow it religiously, you can lose up to 7 kgs in a week.
DAILY DIET PLAN
1. Breakfast:
2 eggs, hard boiled
1 plate cucumber salad
Something to nibble on between meals:
5 plums or
1 big apple or
1 peach (it should weigh less than 200gr)
3. Lunch:
1 piece toasted whole-wheat bread and cucumber salad on the side
CUCUMBER SALAD RECIPE
Ingredients:
Cucumber, 400 g
Sour milk or yogurt, any brand, 200 ml
A pinch of salt
Fresh onion, sliced
Preparation:
Start by peeling the cucumber and slicing it really finely. The next step is to add salt and combine everything together until the salt dissolves. Add the sour milk/yogurt and toss until combined. Sprinkle with onion and serve.
