Cotton is world-wide mostly used fibre for it's comfortableness as well as various important properties. Also cotton has the ability to be intermingled easily with the other fibres like polyester, nylon, rayon etc. to produce a blended yarn. But, the quality of cotton varies significantly based on different criteria like maturity, fineness, staple length, color, cleanliness etc.

Yes, cotton is the king in textile. But we have to remember the negative impact on environment which cause during the processing of the fibre, yarn and fabric to manufacture different type of garment. That is why the term 'Eco-friendly' arrived.
