Daffodil International University and Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FnF) is hosting the Global
Startup Competition, “Get in The Ring” (which is widely known as the Olympic of startup) Dhaka
edition for the third time to open the biggest platform for the youth to unlock their business startups.
This time the competition is segmented to 5 divisional stage by which divisional participants can
easily participate the divisional selection round. After successful completion of Khulna & Rajshahi
Divisional selection round GITR team moved to capital city Dhaka for organizing Dhaka Divisional
section round which is was held on 20 th September 2019 (Friday) at Auditorium 52, Daffodil
International University where number of participants from various field across the Dhaka were fight
each other to make confirm their position to the next level of the competition.
Three startup team, Best Price, Polyfins Technology Ltd. and Minimal Limited got selected from
Dhaka Divisional Selection Round for the national Final of Get in the Ring Dhaka 2019-20 on
October.
Mr. Omar Mostafiz, Program Manager, Friedrich Naumann Foundation (FnF), Md. Kamruzzaman,
Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Business & Entrepreneurship, Daffodil International University, Mr.
Mohammed Tanvir Mosharraf, Manager, Program & Partnership, Speed Trust, were present at the
competition as judge.
Having all divisional qualifier Get in the Ring National Final will be taken place in DHAKA on 12
October 2019. National winner will be qualified to fight the battle of Global Stage.
