Ready Made Garment Sector (RMG)

The Ready Made garment industry in Bangladesh is not the outgrowth of traditional economic activities but emerged from economic opportunities perceived by the private sector. Bangladeshi products met quality standards of customers in North America and Western Europe, and prices were satisfactory and many owners made back their entire capital investment with a year or two and thereafter continued to realize great profits. Some 85% of Bangladeshi production was sold to North American customers and virtually overnight Bangladesh became become the 6th largest supplier to the North American market. After foreign business, began building a ready-made garment industry, Bangladeshi capitalists appeared and a veritable rush of them began to organize companies in Dhaka, Chittagong and small towns. With no government regulating the number of firms that proliferated, no definitive count was available.

Garment Sector Plays an important rules in our economy. It supply Ready Made garment products to abroad specially North America and Western Europe. It is the main source of earnings foreign money. Not only this the Ready Made garment industry in Bangladesh also play a great rule in employment sector.
So Government should take proper steps for the development of this sector.

Today, what we've achieved in the sectors of garment industries, all because of the human resources & their capabilities to do the job with a very satisfactory level.  every year more & more companies are being involved in this sector. So we must make the best use of time. we've to emphasis the RMG sector to the modern civilization.

The RMG industry of Bangladesh has expanded dramatically over the last three decades. Ready Made Garments sectors plays an important rule in our life and now this time we most use the ready made garments products. By the same time this garments sectors are the main earning sectors of Bangladesh(Export) from the abroad. This sectors make a great and huge opportunity to employment. Many peoples are work in this Garments sectors.

We should give attentation  not only ready made garments but also the production of diversified agricultural, industrial and service related products for the betterment of the economy.

Yes garments sector are play an important role in our economy but political stability are hampered this day by day
