Title: DIU Membership in the International Association of Universities (IAU)

Dear All

We are delighted to announce that the International Association of Universities (IAU) http://www.iau-aiu.net/ has enlisted our beloved Daffodil International University (DIU) to their membership.  DIU is now a member of prestigious IAU and is going to receive a formal receipt as well as other recognition and facilities as its usual member. DIU has already provided them with a brief 100 words presentation, highlights some pictures. You may find the web link of DIU in IAU website http://www.iau-aiu.net/content/institutions . Other than DIU, there are 4 universities of Bangladesh who could attain membership of this aristocrat society.

DIU will be highlighted at the 14th IAU General Conference, to take place at The Inter American University of Puerto Rico, San Juan, Puerto-Rico (USA) on 27-30 November 2012, on: Higher Education and the Global Agenda: Alternative Paths to the Future.

This success is another international milestone of DIU. Lets have a cheer!

Title: Memorandums of Understanding (MoU)

Daffodil International University (DIU) recently signed two bilateral Memorandums of Understanding (MoU) on International Partnership Programmes with two international universities. The university signed the MoU with VIT University, Vellore, Tamilnadu, India, and Chao Shan College, China, during the 10th Asian University Presidents’ Forum (AUPF) at the VIT University, Vellore, India.

Md Sabur Khan, chairman, Board of Trustees, DIU, signed in both the MoUs on behalf of Daffodil International University, while Dr G Viswanathan, chancellor, VIT University, India, and Zhuang Mingying, vice-president, Chaoshan College, Puning, China, signed the MoUs on behalf of VIT University and Chaoshan College, China respectively. The two five-year bilateral agreements aim at exchanging students, faculty members, research works and so forth between the universities.
