Title: Yet another new word!
Post by: shamshoque on May 03, 2017, 12:44:05 PM
It sounds funny though but-
What does " aa" mean? and where did it appear first?

No prize for the correct response this time  but please join in. Thank you.

Colleague Rafi has discovered where "aa" appeared first. But I'm still looking for the meaning of the word really. I know something about the modern use of "aa" in the countries where English is spoken as L1. I'll come back to you when you find  out the original meaning of "aa." Thank you all who are responding.
