Dear Mr. Shamim, the pictures that you have attached here all are extremely beautiful. But none of them is taken from our own country. In this case, can't we attach some beautiful pictures of the unexplored areas of our country which are hardly visited by us but have aesthetic value? I am sure the pictures will tempt us to visit those places and help us to feel proud as the citizens of this beautiful country. thank you.

I emphasize on confidence and quick wit as two important elements to be smart. But over confidence tarnishes the image of the person. So an attractive personality should maitain a balance.

I want to express my gratitude to ELC And CDC for arranging such an effective programme. Yesterday i was one of the judges of Essay competition and i had an amazing realization. The essays were written in a very organized way and those who were selected for first, second and third position proved their utmost ability. When the scripts were evaluated by me and Shibli Sir, i could hardly believe that the essays were written by our students(!). And the experience of yesterday made me believe it again that nothing is impossible for our students and they have potentiality.... now it is the duty of both the teachers and the students to nourish their capacity and to let them come out in the proper way.

Faculty Forum / Re: Day Care Centre for Babies
« on: September 30, 2010, 09:47:20 AM »
I appreciate the logic of Umme Kulsum Madam. Now-a-days the problem of maid servant or house assistant is acute.
Beside this, we can not get the assurance of their sincere performance if they are employed. As a result, it brings worries and sufferings for a working woman. If she works somewhere, it affects the career of the woman as well. In this case, if the working mother is provided the opportunity to keep her child in the day care centre of her own organisation it will ensure her sincere contribution. In our organization, if there were any day care centre that would obviously bring mental relief for the mothers and at the same time that would create a job opportunity for the female students. Thus the establishment of a day care centre can promise benefit for both the teachers and students(who will be in charge of taking care of the babies). So, I would earnestly request the authority to think over this serious issue and take a positive step as early as possible.

Dear Umme Kulsum Madam,
I want to start my writing praising your effort as a succsessful effort and very much inspiring for all. I want to request you to arrange such competition for the students after a certain period if possible. And in that case the quiz may be on the Idioms or any kind of book - science fiction or short story....  whatever it is.

The cultural program performed by the students of English Dept. was really excellent and praiseworthy. The speeches delivered by Shahrear and Shamim, proved again the competence of our students. Although the speeches were brief, the audience did not fail to get the message underlying in those speeches. Again the performance of the two anchors was really outstanding and deserves praise from all. their anchoring was really innovative and amusing.  Even the plays also demanded praise from the audiences. I think this sort of outstanding performers should be given their deserved recognition. I personally appreciate their talent. Above all, the program was an example of excellence created by dept. of English.

HRDI / Re: reflection on teaching-learning
« on: July 16, 2009, 10:15:24 AM »
Dear Shibli Sir,

I agree with you. But the aim of this newly arranged workshop is to find out the possible solutions which will bring benefit for the students as well as the faculties and at the same time will ensure the effective teaching method. The points that you have raised are still being practised in the institutions. But my point is that the activities that are not appreciated by us why should we repeat them in our personal life? if a few of us start with new thought and new hope and remain steady in our mottto, then at one time others will also join us. So, let us start our new journey with new hope and aspiration.
Thanking you
Asma
