Dear non-teaching colleagues,
As you know we conducted special English language classes with a view to developing the skill of speaking and writing. Because of the Foundation program we all got busy so suspended the classes for a period. Now we can resume the classes on Wednesdays (5:00- 6:00PM) as the Foundation ceremony is over. The Foundation ceremony was an unforgettable carnival no doubt. Still it seems that something was missing. It could be made better. The opening part in particular should have been more organized and more decently presented. well time will teach us. We commit to do better.

The respected colleagues and dear students,
Let me take a little opportunity to tell that the total program of the Foundation Day Ceremony was excellent. I was especially delighted because the occasion took place on our own permanent campus. It gives me more pleasure to think that DIU is really on good growth in all respects. But it certainly would demand more of our care, concern and commitment that is sure to multiply its growth. Let us jointly work with renewed pledge.

Dear Faculty members and students

It is a sad news for us to say that one of our colleagues Prof. Dr. Rezaur Rahman passed away on 28th instant and we mourned his death in a condolence meeting today. The Hon'ble  Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Lutfar Rahman and Professor Emeritus Dr. Aminul Islam were present and paid their tribute to late Prof. Rezaur Rahman.

I would request all to pray for his departed soul.
