1. Stone House, Portugal:The stone house in Portugal really resembles the famous home of the Flintstones. It is built between two rocks and its architecture has impressed some of the greatest names of the branch. Not speaking that becoming so famous, the house was attacked by some vandals and in sequence of the attacks it was equipped with bullet resistant windows and a steel door. The house is pretty comfortable inside, having a fireplace and everything necessary, so it is a wonderful example of modern architecture in Stone Age style! Unbelievable!
2.Dancing Building, Czech Republic:The Dancing House or “Fred and Ginger” is situated in Prague, Czech Republic. This is an amazing masterpiece of architecture, which has its own romantic charm. There is something so sweet in the way the buildings hug each other for a dance! It was designed by Vlado Milunic in cooperation with Frank Gehry, it is a stylish and amazing building, which became a symbol of the city!
3.Habitat 67, Montreal, Canada:Habitat 67 in Canada is a complex which resembles a very interesting arrangement of cubes that kids play with. It is pretty interesting how it was designed – it looks so original and the same time is a building completely stable and comfortable for living! ট্রিপল ফিল্টার টেস্ট !

প্রাচীন গ্রীসের একটি ঘটনা।একদিন একজন লোক বিখ্যাত দার্শনিক সক্রেটিসের কাছে এসে বললো,' সক্রেটিস,তুমি কি জানো এই মাত্র আমি তোমার বন্ধুর ব্যাপারে কি শুনে আসলাম....?'

সক্রেটিস বললো,'এক মিনিট দাঁড়াও, তুমি আমার বন্ধুকে নিয়ে ঘটনাটি বলার আগে আমি তোমাকে তিনটি প্রশ্ন করবো। আমি এর নাম দিয়েছি 'ট্রিপল ফিল্টার টেস্ট'। প্রথম প্রশ্নটি সত্য মিথ্যা নিয়ে..

'তুমি কি শিওর তুমি আমাকে যা বলতে যাচ্ছ তা নির্ভেজাল সত্য?'

লোকটি উত্তর দিল, 'না, আমি জানি না এটা সত্য কিনা,আসলে আমি শুধু শুনেছি এটা।'

'ঠিক আছে', সক্রেটিস আবার বললো,' তাহলে তুমি শিওর না যে তুমি যা বলবে তা সত্য। এখন আমার দ্বিতীয় ফিল্টার। তুমি কি আমার বন্ধুকে নিয়ে ভাল কিছু বলবে?'

'উম,নাহ, খারাপ কিছু...'

সক্রেটিস বললো ,'তাহলে তুমি আমার বন্ধু সম্পর্কে আমাকে খারাপ কিছু বলতে চাও এবং তুমি শিওর নও যে তা সত্যি কিনা। ঠিক আছে,এখনো তৃতীয় প্রশ্ন বাকি,তুমি তৃতীয় পরীক্ষায় পাশ করলে আমাকে কথাটি বলতে পারো।'

'তুমি আমাকে যা বলতে যাচ্ছ তা কি আমার জন্য উপকারী?'

'না,আসলে তোমার জন্য তা উপকারী নয়।'

দৈনন্দিন জীবনে আমরা নানান সমস্যার সম্মুখীন হই। বিশেষ করে ফ্যাশন সম্পর্কিত নানান সমস্যা নিয়ে আমরা প্রায়ই বেশ বিপদে পড়ি। কাপড়ে দাগ লেগে যাওয়া কিংবা কাপড় ধোয়ার পর রঙ উঠে যাওয়া সহ আরো নানান রকম সমস্যায় প্রায়ই মুশকিলে পড়ি আমরা। এসব নানান সমস্যা থেকে সমাধান পাওয়ার আছে কিছু সহজ উপায়। যেগুলো জানা থাকলে অনেক সমস্যা থেকেই চট করে মুক্তি পাওয়া যায়। আসুন জেনে নেয়া যাক দৈনন্দিন জীবনের জন্য প্রয়োজনীয় ৭টি টিপস সম্পর্কে।

১) জিন্স পুরোনো হয়ে হাটুর কাছে ছিড়ে গিয়েছে? ফেলে না দিয়ে পুরোনো জিন্স কেটে বানিয়ে ফেলুন হাফ প্যান্ট, ব্যাগ অথবা টেবিল মোছার কাপড়।

২) খাবার খেতে গিয়ে খাবারের তেল পড়েছে শখের কাপড়ে? দুশ্চিন্তার কিছুই নেই। তেল পড়া স্থানে ছিটিয়ে দিন বেবি পাউডার। এবার সাড়া রাত রেখে দিন এভাবেই। সকালে উঠে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। তেলের দাগ চলে যাবে কাপড় থেকে।

৩) কাপড়ের জুতো পরতে পরতে ময়লা হয়ে পুরোনো হয়ে গিয়েছে? ধুয়ে ফেলুন বেকিং সোডা, ডিটারজেন্ট পাউডার ও টুথব্রাশ দিয়ে ঘষে। নতুনের মত ঝকঝকে হয়ে যাবে জুতো জোড়া।

৪) নতুন জুতো কিনেছেন কিন্তু পায়ে কিছুটা ছোট লাগছে? জুতোর ভেতরে পানি ভরা ব্যাগ রেখে সাড়া রাত ফ্রিজে রেখে দিন। পরদিন জুতো পরতে বেশ সুবিধা হবে।

৫) নতুন কিনে আনা কাপড় থেকে অনেক রঙ উঠছে? এই সমস্যা সমাধানের জন্য হালকা গরম পানিতে লবণ দিয়ে কাপড়টাকে ভিজিয়ে রাখুন কিছুক্ষণ। রঙ ওঠা বন্ধ হয়ে যাবে কাপড়ের।

৬) কাপড়ে ঘামের দাগ আঁটকে গেলে সেটা দূর করার আছে একটি সহজ উপায়। ঘামের দাগের অংশটিতে লেবুর রস স্প্রে করুন। এরপর সেটাকে ভালো করে ঘষে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। ঘামের দাগ উঠে যাবে সহজেই।

৭) কাপড় থেকে লিপস্টিক বা ফাউন্ডেশনের দাগ উঠাতে চাইলে শেভিং ক্রিম লাগিয়ে রাখুন কিছুক্ষন। এরপর যায়গাটি সাবান দিয়ে ভালো করে ঘষে ধুয়ে ফেলুন। দাগ উঠে যাবে পুরোপুরি।

‘২০০৪ সাল থেকেই তৈরি হচ্ছে কৃত্রিম ডিম। যুক্তরাষ্ট্র থেকে প্রকাশিত বিজ্ঞান সাময়িকী ‘দ্য ইন্টারনেট জার্নাল অফ টক্সোকোলজি’তে কৃত্রিম ডিম সম্পর্কে বিশ্লেষণধর্মী তথ্য প্রকাশ হয়েছে।

প্রতিবেদনে বলা হয়েছে, কৃত্রিম ডিমে কোনো খাদ্যগুন ও প্রোটিন নেই। বরং তা মানবদেহের জন্য ক্ষতিকর।
কিভাবে তৈরি হয় কৃত্রিম ডিম ইন্টারনেট থেকে প্রাপ্ত প্রস্তুতপ্রনালীতে দেখা যায়, কুসুম ও সাদা অংশের সমন্বয়ে কৃত্রিম ডিম তৈরি করতে প্লাস্টিকের ছাঁচ ব্যবহৃত হয়। তবে তার আগে কুসম তৈরি করা হয় বিভিন্ন রাসায়নিক পদার্থ দিয়ে। সরাসরি ক্যালসিয়াম ক্লোরাইড ও কালারিং ডাই দিয়ে লাল বা গাঢ় হলুদ রংয়ের কুসুম তৈরি করা হয়। তার ওপর অতি পাতলা স্বচ্ছ রাসায়নিকের আবরণ তৈরি করা হয়। যাতে কুসুম ও সাদা অংশ এক না হয়ে যায়। সাদা অংশ তৈরিতে ব্যবহার হয় ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বনেট, স্টার্চ, রিজিন জিলাটিন ও এলাম।

প্লাস্টিকের ছাঁচ ডিমের সাদা অংশ তৈরি করে তার মাঝখানে ডিমের কুসুম তৈরি করা হয়। শেষ ধাপে ডিমের উপরের শক্ত খোলস তৈরিতে করা হয়। এর জন্য ব্যবহার করা হয় ওয়াক্স এর মিশনখানে ব্যবহার করা হয় প্যারাফিন, বেনজয়িক এসিড, বেকিং পাউডার, ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বাইড। সাদা অংশকে ওয়াক্সের দ্রবণে কিছুক্ষণ নাড়ানো চাড়ানো হয়।

বাইরে থেকে স্বল্প তাপ প্রয়োগ করা হয়। এতেই তৈরি হয়ে যায় হুবহু ডিমের মতো দেখতে একটি বস্তু।

আসল ডিম থেকে নকল ডিম আলাদা করার উপায়ঃ

- কৃত্রিম অনেক বেশি ভঙ্গুর। অল্প চাপে ভেঙ্গে যায়।

- এ ডিম সিদ্ধ করলে এর কুসুম বর্ণহীন হয়ে যায়। ভাঙ্গার পর আসল ডিমের মতো কুসুম এক জায়গায় না থেকে চারপাশে ছড়িয়ে পড়ে।

-কৃত্রিম ডিম আকারে আসল ডিমের তুলনায় সামান্য বড় এবং এর খোলস মসৃণ।

ইন্টারনেট-এর বিভিন্ন সাইট থেকে আরো জানা যায়, চীনে তৈরী হওয়া এসব কৃত্রিম বা নকল ডিম এক কথায় বিষাক্ত। কৃত্রিম ডিম তৈরিতে ব্যবহৃত রাসায়নিক উপাদান ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বনেট, স্টার্চ, রেসিন, জিলেটিন মানবদেহের জন্য খুবই ক্ষতিকর। দীর্ঘদিন এ ধরনের ডিম খেলে স্নায়ুতন্ত্র ও কিডনিতে সমস্যা হতে পারে। ক্যালসিয়াম কার্বাইড ফুসফুসের ক্যান্সারসহ জটিল রোগের কারণ।

Opened in time for the 2008 Olympics, the vast Terminal 3 (two miles long and one of the largest buildings in the world) is supposed to represent a dragon. Architects Foster + Partners color-coded the ceiling—a dizzyingly complex mesh that allows sunlight to filter in—with red zones and yellow zones. Not only does the traditionally Chinese color scheme heighten the building's drama, it also helps passengers navigate the building.

The Hundertwasser “Waldspirale” (“Forest Spiral“) is one of the amazing houses in the world. his is a residential building complex located in Darmstadt, Germany  between 1998 and 2000. The building has a unique façade which doesn’t follow a regular grid pattern and the windows appear as if they are dancing out of line and appear out of order.  It was designed by Viennese artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser and finally planned and implemented by architect Heinz M. Springmann. It contains 105 apartments, an inner courtyard, a small artificial lake and also a playground for children. The building has 12 floors.

This 7 story Longaberger Basket Building is located in Longaberger Town, Newark, Ohio, United states. It is the corporate headquarters of the Longaberger Basket Company, specialized on baskets and has a shape of… exactly a basket. The Longaberger Basket Building is a truely impressive example of Mimetic Architecture, and relatively recent at that. It was the brainchild of the Longaberger Empire Founder Dave Longaberger.
The basket is a replica 160 times larger of Longaberger’s Medium Market Basket. It’s 192 ft. long by 126 ft. wide at the bottom, spreading to 208 ft. long by 142 ft. wide at the roofline. Lake Hillier is a pink-colored lake on Middle Island, the largest of the islands and islets that make up the Recherche Archipelago, Western Australia. From above the lake appears a solid bubble gum pink. It is such a significant distinguishing feature of the archipelago that air passengers often crane their necks to take a glimpse of it.
The lake is about 600 meters long, and is surrounded by a rim of sand and a dense woodland of paperbark and eucalyptus trees. A narrow strip of sand dunes covered by vegetation separates it to the north from the Southern Ocean.The pink color is due to red halophilic bacteria in the salt crusts. That the color is not a trick of light can be proved by taking water from the lake in a container – the pink color can be found to be permanent.

Ships moving between the two had to make a 12-kilometre detour, descending from the Mittelland Canal through the Rothensee boat lift into the Elbe, then sailing downstream on the river, before ascending to the Elbe-Havel Canal through Niegripp lock. Low water levels in the Elbe often prevented fully laden canal barges from making this crossing, requiring time-consuming off-loading of cargo.

2.Pontcysyllte Aqueduct: The Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, in Wrexham County Borough in Britain, was built between 1795 and 1805 to carry the Ellesmere Canal over the valley of the River Dee to link the coal mines of Denbighshire to the national canal system during the Industrial Revolution. It was one of the world's greatest engineering achievements of the time. For more than 200 years, it is the longest and highest aqueduct in Britain, and currently a World Heritage Site.The aqueduct is 307 meter long, 3.4 meter wide and 1.60 meter deep, and forms a part of an 18 km long aqueduct system. It consists of a cast iron trough supported 38 meter above the river on iron arched ribs carried on nineteen hollow masonry piers. The use of both cast and wrought iron in the aqueduct enabled the construction of arches that were light and strong, producing an overall effect that is both monumental and elegant.The economic influence of the canal for the region was considerable during the first half of the 19th century, enabling the rapid development of coal extraction, metal working, limestone quarries, and the production of lime. The slate quarries of the Welsh mountains and agriculture also benefited from the canal. Today, the canal no longer moves coal and limestone cargoes, but is a popular spot for tourists. Since 1954 the canal has been managed and maintained in a navigable condition by British Waterways.

3.Barton Swing Aqueduct:The Barton Swing Aqueduct is a moveable water bridge in Barton upon Irwell in Greater Manchester, England, that carries the Bridgewater Canal across the Manchester Ship Canal. The swinging action allows large vessels using the Manchester Ship Canal to pass underneath and smaller narrow boats to cross over the top. When large vessels need to pass along the Ship Canal, the 1,450-tonne and 100 meter long iron trough is rotated 90 degrees. A gate at each end of the trough retains around 800 tonnes of water; further gates on each bank retain water in their adjacent stretches of canal. A similar swing bridge, but for road traffic, lies adjacent to, and upstream of, the Barton Swing Aqueduct.The aqueduct, which is the first and only swing aqueduct in the world is considered a major feat of Victorian civil engineering. Designed by Sir Edward Leader Williams and built by Andrew Handyside of Derby, the swing bridge opened in 1894 and remains in regular use.Previously, the aqueduct crossing over River Irwell was a rigid stone structure that prevented new ships of larger dimension to pass underneath the bridge. A swinging bridge became a necessity.

১) আল্লাহ তা'লার অসীম কুদরতে ৪০০০ বছর পূর্বে সৃষ্টি হয়েছিল।

২) ভারী মোটরের সাহায্যে প্রতি সেকেন্ডে ৮০০০ লিটার পানি উত্তোলন করার পরও পানি ঠিক সৃষ্টির সূচনাকালের ন্যায়।

৩) পানির স্বাদ পরিবর্তন হয়নি, জন্মায়নি কোন ছত্রাক বা শৈবাল।

৪) সারাদিন পানি উত্তোলন শেষে, মাত্র ১১ মিনিটেই আবার পূর্ণ হয়ে যায় কূপটি।

৫) এই কূপের পানি কখনও শুকায়নি, সৃষ্টির পর থেকে একই রকম আছে এর পানি প্রবাহ, এমনকি হজ্ব মৌসুমে ব্যবহার কয়েক গুণ বেড়ে যাওয়া সত্বেও এই পানির স্তর কখনও নিচে নামে না।

৬) সৃষ্টির পর থেকে এর গুনাগুণ, স্বাদ ও এর মধ্যে বিভিন্ন উপাদান একই পরিমাণে আছে।

৭) এই কূপের পানির মধ্যে ক্যালসিয়াম ও ম্যাগনেসিয়াম সল্ট এর পরিমাণ অন্যান্য পানির থেকে বেশী, এজন্য এই পানি শুধু পিপাসা মেটায় তা না, এই
পানি ক্ষুধাও নিবারণ করে।

৮) এই পানিতে ফ্লুরাইডের পরিমাণ বেশী থাকার কারণে এতে কোন জীবানু জন্মায় না।
