Should university professors be required to study teaching methodology in the same way secondary and elementary teachers do?I have often heard students complain that their professors are experts in a particular discipline, mainly by virtue of an advanced degree, but the professors do not teach well. So, should universities do more to develop teaching methodology training for higher education?

I was quite surprised to see the wikipedia home page on 18th of this month. At the first glance i thought it was hacked and i discovered the clue on the next day.Actually , it was a protest of wikipedia and some other websites against the anti piracy bills SOPA and PIPA  which were decided to be presented in american congress.If these bills are passed we will no more be able to upload any material on any site which we have not purchased.
