WiFi Zone at DIU Main Campus

Dear all,
It is a great pleasure for me to inform you that we Daffodil International University already implemented WiFi Zone in our main campus (1st floor and 2nd floor). After getting success of this project and receiving feedback from all of you, we will implement the same facilities in our all campuses soon. The students and employees who have laptop are requested to enjoy the WiFi facility from tomorrow.

DIU is emerging..... Hurrah......Now, its time to go farther.

Ya … definitely it’s a cool and smart approach but ….. As far as I know now its providing 512 kbps (64KBps) shared connection. The BW is divided among the users so with the rapid increase of users the quality falls down. Only 10 users could hardly browse at a speed of 6.4KBps simultaneously.

Without considering the administrative users minimum 5-7 students are using Wi-FI through laptops in 1st floor everyday and via cell phone it’s numerous. So due to the poorer speed the final outcome is “Wi-Fi Zone couldn’t reach that quality service yet for what we’ve been waiting long time”
