Mater has unveiled the Winston Bench - a light weight and compact design, made from environmentally friendly materials and suitable for a range of interior spaces, designed by Eva Harlou. "The Winston Bench has been designed with the desire to create a beautifully crafted piece of furniture that is versatile and that can be used in different interior settings," Harlou commented.

The Winston Bench has an elegant aesthetic and it is crafted in FSC certified oak and wicker. The intricate cane-work of the piece is woven by Denmark's most experienced and highly skilled craftsman. Cane is a sustainable material as the grass reproduces itself very quickly after harvesting.

The oak framework and the detailing of the leg fixtures underline the exquisite craftsmanship of the Winston Bench. Furthermore, the waste wood and rattan from the production of the Winston Bench are compressed into wooden pellets and used to heat up the workshop, making it an energy self-sufficient piece.
