এই ছবিটা হচ্ছে বিশ্বের বিখ্যাত এবং পৃথিবী কাপানো ছবিগুলোর মাঝে একটা। এই ছবিটা তুলেছিলেন ফটোগ্রাফার Kevin Carter. Kevin Carter এই ছবিটি তুলেছিলেন ১৯৯৪ সালে সুদানে জাতিসংঘের খাদ্য গুদামের কাছে।

ছবিটার মানে কি জানেন??
শকুনটা অপেক্ষা করছে ছোট্ট শিশুটার মৃত্যুর জন্য। কারন মৃত্যুর পর শকুনটা এই শিশুটার শরীরের মাংস খাবে। এই ছবিটা তখন সারা দুনিয়াতে আলোড়ন তুলেছিল।

ছবিটা তোলার পর থেকেই তিনি মানসিকভাবে ভেঙ্গে পড়েছিলেন এবং এই কারনেই তিনি ছবিটি তোলার ৩মাস পড়ে সুইসাইড করেন ।

আত্মহত্যার আগে Kevin Carter নিন্মলিখিত বাক্যগুলো তার ডায়রিতে লিখে যান-
"Dear God, I promise Iwill never waste my food no matter how bad it can taste and how full i may be. I pray that He will protect this little boy, guide and deliver him away from his misery. I pray that we will be more sensitive towards the world around us and not be blinded by our own selfish nature and interests. I hope this picture will always serve as a reminder to us that how fortunate we are and that we must never ever take things for granted."

Some times we waste our food and can not aware about of the hungry people who can not live without the food. So we all try to save the food.
