NBR launches 'LTU-VAT Mobile App' to ensure tax services

The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has launched 'LTU-VAT Mobile App' to facilitate large taxpayers to get tax related services easily and properly.

"We've launched this app to ensure quick service for the large taxpayers. Anyone using cell phone with android facility now can get this service.

iPhone users will get this facility soon," said LTU VAT Commissioner Md Matiur Rahman Wednesday.

Quoting him BSS said explanation of some important tax related laws including VAT, its rules and regulations and services and VAT form will be available in this app. People will be able to inform the NBR about their opinion on tax related issues through this app, he added.

This app contains name, picture, designation, cell-phone numbers and email ID of all officials-employees of LTU-VAT office. Taxpayers, including businesspeople, will also be able to know about revenue collection situation and code for depositing tax to government exchequer, said Rahman.

One of the important features of the app is it contains all information about Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), Rahman added.
