আনাস (রাঃ) হতে বর্ণিত আছে, তিনি বলেন, রাসূলুল্লাহ (সাঃ) বলেছেনঃ সেই বান্দার উপর আল্লাহ অবশ্যই সন্তুষ্ট থাকেন, যে এক গ্রাস খাদ্য গ্রহণ করেই তাঁর প্রশংসা করে এবং এক ঢোক পানীয় পান করেই তাঁর প্রশংসা করে ('আল-হামদু লিল্লাহ' বলে)।
