For effective presentation we need to focus on certain points:

Pronunciation,accuracy,fluency and smartness(eye contact,clarity of the topic etc)

I think for presentation dress code is important.Dress-up should be simple but elegant and of course well pressed. The dress should not be much colourful. It is wise to select dress according to the theme of the presentation though it might not be always possible.  Girls should not wear dangling earing or more than one bangle as it might distract the mind of the audience. And the boys should not appear with their sleeves folded.

In the time of presentation there should be special emphasis on theme and content of the topic.

I have seen many well-dressed students who couldn't even speak properly in the presentation.

When a person appears to present their paper with creased shirt with folded sleeves and sandals, will the audience be kind enough to listen to them?
Dress-up and get-up form a part of presentation skills.
