Slums in dhaka: any solution (WHAT WE DO?)

  Go to the roof of any high rise building in Dhaka city and take a look around.You will realize that there arent slums everywhere and that the picture I posted is actually the biggest slum in entire bangladesh.And if thats not possible,take the window seat please so that u have a clearer picture of the city!Anyway,Welcome to the forum

Slums are always built on govt. land in Bangladesh.The slums beside sonargoan are no longer there,they were demolished by the govt.I did hear of some projects initiated by the govt to building a few thousand apartments for slum dwllers,but am uncertain regarding how far such projects have progressed.
