Job design is the process of structuring works and designating the specific work activities of an individual or group of individuals to achieve certain organizational objectives. Job design addresses the basic questions of how the job is to be performed, who is to perform it, where it is to be performed.
Job analysis and job design are directly linked to each other. In practice, most job analysis are performed on existing jobs that have previously been designed.
