To offer for DIU students the programs of Russian language study, exchange students for visiting summer schools and camps, opportunities for higher education in Russia a MoU was signed today between Russian Center of Science and Culture (RCSC) and Daffodil International University (DIU) at Conference Room of the University.
H. E. Mr. Alexander G. Chesnokov, Deputy Head, Russian Federal Agency for cooperation with foreign countries was present as the chief guest. Mr. Alexander P. Demin, First Secretary and Head of Cultural Department, Embassy of the Russian Federation in Bangladesh and Professor Dr. M. Lutfar Rahman, Vice-Chancellor, Daffodil International University signed the MoU on behald od their respective organizations.
The signing ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. M. Mizanur Rahaman, Treasurer, Prof. Dr. M. Zakir Hossain, Dean, Faculty of Business and Economics, Prof. Dr. Engr. A. K. M. Fazlul Hoque, Registrar, Prof. Dr. Md. Fokhray Hossain, Director ( International Affairs), Mr. Syed Mizanur Rahman, Director ( Student Affairs),Daffodil International University and Ms. Elena Nikolicheva, Head of the Economic Affairs and Mr. Proshanta Kumar Barman, Head of Cultural Ptogram Section of Russian Embassy in Bangladesh.
Under this agreement RCSC will arrange on regular basis the programs like photo exhibitions, film show, seminars, cultural show in DIU Venue, about Russian culture, heritage, language, etc. RCSC will give access for every DIU student’s to RCSC library to learn and discover Russian history, literature, culture and language from available in RCSC books and films.
DIU will arrange short or long term Russian language courses in DIU for students. For this language courses DIU will ensure students participation and Russian teachers’ accommodations in mutually agreed manner. DIU will include some Russian books (language, literature, history, culture, etc) in their library for students’ interest about Russia. These materials will be supported by RCSC, Dhaka.
