A high delegation team of DIU headed by Mr. Md. Sabur Khan, honorable Chairman, BOT met a Turkish delegation team at the Palm View Restaurant on October 1, 2011 evening Army Golf Club, Airport Road, Dhaka Cantonment. The Turkish team was comprised of Mr. Fikret Cicek, President, Turkey- Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Dhaka; Mr. F Fatih Celik, Executive Director, Turkish Cultural Centre, Dhaka, and Mr. Bayram Saatci, Principal, International Turkish Hope School, Dhaka. The initiative was, however, taken by DIU where the Turkish panel responded positively.
A productive, interactive discussion followed by a dinner was held between two delegation teams. They exchanged views on different matters. Both the team expressed satisfaction to the steps and hoped to continue their effective communication for better organizational developments for the both countries. DIU key figures handed over crests among the Turkish delegates and vice versa as tokens of friendship. A photo session was held afterward to keep the memory ever lasting through snapshots.
