Your email account has been set up for you on mail.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd However, for security reasons, you will be asked to set a new password. To set your password, you will visit
http://mail.daffodilvarsity.edu.bdYou must choose a strong password. Mail server will not let you choose a weak password. The password must be at least eight characters long and must have a mix of uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numerals, and/or special characters. You must remember what your password is. No one can retrieve your password for you if you forget it (not even me). Your username is the left-hand side of your email address (the portion to the left of @daffodilvarsity.edu.bd) and the default password for everyone is XXXXXX for example: if your email address is cdc@daffodilvarsity.edu.bd the left-hand side of that is cdc, therefore cdc’s username is cdc, the first time cdc logs in, he will use
username: cdc
password: XXXXXX (sample)
So, please visit
http://mail.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd now and set your password. Please don't forget your password; you will need it in step 2 below. After setting your password, you will be taken to the new web mail interface on
http://mail.daffodilvarsity.edu.bd . You can look around if you like, explore the "email account features", but then please SIGN OUT.
