Java Forum / Re: Java Swing
« on: August 06, 2010, 11:48:29 PM »
It is really a good effort. Please keep it up. One opinion, please start from the very beginning. That is how the platform will be set up and what software required to install (NetBean , Eclipse etc.  ). Actually, please ahead in such a way that one who is not totally new in Java also get interest to learn by this post.

Again I would like to thank you for this good initiatives.

Hello,

Thanks for the post. I also think that DIU should be member of International Association of Universities. From 2011, Sweden is going to implement tuition fee for the foreign students. In one sense, it has limited our scopes for higher studies. In other sense, it also has opened doors for the brilliant students as they will provide more scholarships for the overseas students. I informed our registrar sir all information required to be a member of IAU. Hope that he will take the initiatives as soon as possible. Another thing, I want to mention that DIU can take initiatives for making collaboration with the universities of Sweden (e.g. BTH). As best I know, some programs run by BTH and National University of Ruanda. Here, I posted some links to take a look.

Use of Blog / Re: How to register for DIU blog
« on: August 06, 2010, 11:03:40 PM »
Hi,

Does it support Bangla language? If the system gives this support, then many users will be attracted to blogging. Particularly, the ex-students of DIU can form a blogger group like cadet college blog.

You need to know / A good project can ensure your job !!!!
« on: March 15, 2010, 10:47:38 AM »
I am really very happy to let you know that one of our student (Mahedi Hasan, ID:072-20-102, CS Dept. ) got recruited at a renowned software firm for his undergraduate project. Whatever he told me that the interviewers were not interested about his academic backgrounds, learning institutes etc. They only asked what have you done in your project. He showed them all the functionality of his complete dynamic CMS based website and they were highly impressed. This is a good sign for the students to be encouraged to get a good job. So, this is the time to think more about the final project and make it fruitful.
