Daffodil International University emerged as one of the nation's preeminent IT-based universities in Bangladesh. The university will be widely recognized for the quality of its undergraduate and postgraduate educational programs, the effectiveness of its research and outreach programs, and the broad access to the university provided through the innovative use of information technology. The university will ensure the quality of its programs through careful utilization of its resources in institutional strengths. One constant effort is to keep the 'Daffodil Spirit' intact.

The mission of Daffodil International University is to prepare well educated, technologically proficient, and highly productive citizens to attain meaningful careers, to enjoy enriched lives, and to make contributions to the nation. DIU is achieving its mission by providing:

2) the statement stresses the company's major policies and values
3) they define the major competitive spheres within which the company operates.

5) should be short, memorable, and meaningful as possible.

Amazon:  Amazon’s vision is to be earth’s most customer centric company; to build a place where people can come to find and discover anything they might want to buy online.  (They list this as their mission as a combination mission/vision on their site).

Apple:  Apple is committed to bringing the best personal computing experience to students, educators, creative professionals and consumers around the world through its innovative hardware, software and Internet offerings.

Dell:  Dell’s mission is to be the most successful computer company in the world at delivering the best customer experience in markets we serve.

Facebook:  Facebook’s mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected.

Google:  Google’s mission is to organize the world‘s information and make it universally accessible and useful.

Microsoft:  Microsoft’s mission is to enable people and businesses throughout the world to realize their full potential.

Skype: Skype’s mission is to be the fabric of real-time communication on the web.

Twitter:  Twitter lists its mission as “a work in progress” as it has yet to be fully developed.

Yahoo!:  Yahoo!’s mission is to be the most essential global Internet service for consumers and businesses

YouTube:  YouTube’s mission is to provide fast and easy video access and the ability to share videos frequently

"Quality First" is the motto of each and every successful organization. Thus, the mission of DIU should be to ensure Student Quality. Whatever we do in media, whatever promotional activities we conduct, however we try to make people understand about DIU quality, mass people will judge DIU based on its students performance in the job field. So, I think it is high time to screen out students during admission and throughout the session. what do you think?

Why a "Should be"? Ensuring Quality Student is already a motto of Daffodil International University. DIU has already implemented admission tests and DIU has adopted policy to provide students complete guidance to ensure bright career. DIU recruits the best faculty members after a well defined selection process to ensure the same.
