Daffodil International University (DIU) observed 11th Foundation Anniversary with great enthusiasm and gala events on Saturday 16th February 2013 at its permanent campus at Ashulia Model Town, Ashulia, Saver, Dhaka. State Minister for Science and Technology Ministry Architect Yeafesh Osman was present at the program as chief guest. Md. Sabur Khan, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Daffodil International University presided over the program. In the project exhibition there were 24 stalls of different departments of DIU. Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE) achieved 1st prize jointly with TE dept.  among all the departments. In the ETE stall, there were eight projects, Real time based ECG monitoring and transmission system, Cell phone based fire fighting system, Smart traffic control system, Digital display, Renewable energy based modern city, Automatic street light etc. The Chairman, Md. Sabur Khan , Board of Trustees of DIU wanted to give financial fund to implement the 1st  five projects above.
