Founded on the principle that an outstanding liberal arts education is the basis of successful citizenship, UND is focused on teaching, research and creative and scholarly activity, and service to the state of North Dakota, nation, and world. Students matter at UND. It is a place where students research alongside renowned faculty and those same renowned faculty light up the classrooms. The National Science Foundation has awarded to the University of North Dakota Science Team a ngrant to support a scholarship program to students in biology, chemistry, geography and mathematics. The program will provide financial support for up to 4 years (if renewal criteria are satisfied) covering tuition & fees with support of up to $10,000 a year, depending on the financial aid eligibility and qualifying to the selection/eligibility criteria.
