Madhabkunda waterfall is one of the most attractive tourist spots in Sylhet division. It is the largest waterfall in Bangladesh. Big bolder of stones and the black stones with green leafy trees are making this waterfall so charming and eye catching. The rhythmic sound of waterfall from 200 ft height you must enjoy. Its natural beauty must attract you. It will help you to take a breath of self-complacency. Near you can also find a very beautiful tribe village and you can enjoy tribe life here. Lots of tourists from all corner of the world and picnic parties come to Madhabkunda every day for their enjoyment. Here you will also see some elephants and other wild animals.

        Location Barolekha Upazila,Moulvibazar,Sylhet.
        Climate Visitors may go there in between November to March as the weather is cool & hardly rainfall during this period.

        How to get there

        First you have to go to Barolekha from Sylhet by bus and it will take 2 hours to go.From Barolekha you have to take an auto-rickshaw to reach Madhabkunda echo park gate.
        But if you travel by train you have to get down at Kulaura rail station and from there you can reach Madhabkunda within one hour by microbus or minibus.
        From Echo park gate you have to walk for 15 minutes to find the waterfall.
        Notice: There is no bus from 11 AM to 3 PM at afternoon.
        Where to stay

        There is a Parjatan Motel with a good restaurant for accommodation and fooding.You will also find a Bunglow of district council.you need to have a prior booking for the bunglow from Moulvibazar Zilla Parishad office

        There are many hotels and rest houses are available at Srimangal and sylhet town so you can stay there.
        Entry Permits/Fees

        BDT 10 ( Echo Park gate) .
        Accessories needs to have Don’t forget to take swimming costumes if you want to take bathe here.
