How to make grammar lessons more interesting in the classroom.
« on: September 25, 2013, 11:09:04 AM »
Actually, I always try to make things more funny by getting students to animate their grammar lessons a little. I make them involved in debate and short conversations with different interesting topics. I also use different images and graphics in slides to make a topic more simpler. Even after that, they get bored and can't hold their concentration on a particular topic for long.....:(

Does anyone have any other suggestion how I can make grammar classes more interesting for the students?

Thank you.

Yes, it is very difficult to hold interest in grammar classes for a long time.Students feel bored sometimes. Many of them pretend to understand, and some give blank looks.

From my point of view, to make the grammar lessons interesting first of all, we have to start with simple topic that they know.I do believe that we should not make the things complicated. We must assess our students according to their caliber.

Then story telling to learn grammar works a lot.
