Being the Head of Law Department, DIU, I was invited by Dr. Shahdeen Malik, Director, School of Law, BRAC University in the Seminar on student’s research paper presentation. I nominated two faculty members of the Department of Law Daffodil International University,

Mr Md Riaduzzaman along with four students who are doing the course in current semester
“Legal Research Monograph” conducted by me. The team attended the seminar yesterday. According to the rules of the Department, Ms Mirza Farzana Iqbal Chowdhury submitted the following report to me on the attended Seminar.
Dear Forum Readers, sharing the report with you all. And with this, I appreciate the performance of my both colleagues. I always try to create the opportunity for my colleagues for attending/ participating different Law related seminars/ workshops so that they can enrich themselves as well as the department with their gained knowledge. ‘BRAC seminar on student’s research paper presentation’
QuoteDepartment of Law of Daffodil International University participated in the seminar on student’s research paper presentation organized by school of Law of BRAC University held on 7th October, 2013 in the venue of BRAC University auditorium. Md. Riaduzzaman and Mirza Farzana Iqbal Chowdhury, two faculty members and four students, Md. Tariqul Islam, Tanzia Akter, Mosherun Nahar and Md. Ahsan Ullah represented Department of Law of Daffodil International Universityin the seminar among other participants. The seminar was inaugurated by Professor K. Shamsuddin Mahmood, Head, Undergraduate program, School of Law, BRAC University. Three students presented their research papers. The first research paper was presented by Dhruba Brata Das on
‘Cyber Law and Freedom of Expression’. Yasir Adnan presented the second paper on
‘A Critical Legal Analysis of Freedom of Press’ and the third paper was presented by Md. Zamil S. Khan on
‘Discretion of Tax Authority in the Light of Administrative Law’. After presentation of students, an open discussion on the presented papers was held where daffodil faculty members actively participated in the question and answer session. The seminar was successfully ended by closing remarks of Dr. Shahdeen Malik, Director, school of Law of BRAC University with warm and harmonious relation-buildingbetween faculty members of the same department of two universities.
