Steve Jobs’ boyhood home gets ‘historic’ status
« on: November 23, 2013, 07:06:13 PM »
On the face of it the post-war single-story, ranch-style property at 2066 Crist Drive does not look much like an historic home.

Yet it was at this modest premises that a global giant was built — quite literally from scratch. For this was the house that Steve Jobs set on the path to greatness by co-founding Apple.

If its role in computing history was not already established, the Silicon Valley city of Los Altos ensured it would be naming it an “historic resource”.
