Questions about Internship

Internship is an important part of bachelor degree. A person can get a good job by internship as well as result. It’s a practical working experience of an organization. This is really needed for a student. It’s helping a person to adapt a new organization.

I am in 7th semester and looking for more information about internship. I want to know following information:

 Where and how to apply for internship?
 Which organizations are good for internship?
 What are the challenges & academic requirements to get entry for internship as well as job of an good organization?
 Is there any opportunity of DIU students to go abroad for internship?
 How our university helps students for internship?


If anyone shares his/her knowledge and experience with me, I will be very grateful to him/her.

Thank you for your post. I share with a very little knowledge with you.

1. & 3. You can try any reputed bank or institution with good CGPA above 3.5 in scale of 4. Just make a CV with a cover letter and university will give you a forwarding letter.

2. Prime bank, City bank, Exim bank, IDLC bank, Dutch Bangla bank, are better for you.

3. You have to be disciplined person and hard working, energetic.

4. I have not heard about this.  anybody has gone abroad for internship.

5.  I hope, the Entire concern people will inform you as soon as possible

Dear Limon, thank you for yr eagerness to know about the Internship. Internship plays a vital role for a student. Now i'm trying to answer yr questions as I'm the responsible person to look after the whole BBA Internship process.

1.At first y've to complete yr required 40 courses, then clear yr Accounts, then collect an updated Transcripts & an updated CV/Resume with photograph. With all these papers y've to come to Advisor/Dean office. Then we will check all these papers whether y're eligible or not to start yr internship. If u're eligible we will give u forwarding letter(s) according to yr demand.                    
2. Especially Banks are the first choice. But multinational company, telecoms sectors, Real Estate, Pharmaceutical companies etc are also good.
 3. Good companies want  internee who possessed at least above 3.00  CGPA. But not only the CGPA,  the companies also observed the smartness, manageable quality, hard working ability, norms, attitude, problem solving capacity etc.  4. It is a discussable matter. I'll have to talk with higher Authority then let u know. 5. Yes our university has a great care for the students. CDC plays a vital role here.       Last of all, if any question arrive in yr mind, just come, I'll help u insallah.

Dear Ashique, its a easy way to check the papers. I've a formatted paper of checklist to check yr Transcript. Don't be worried about it. As Raju sir suggested you and yr friends to meet him. Do that you'll be benefited.

To all those students who are thinking about the procedures of internship please don't worry. Though i'm now an employee of Daffodil International University but once i was a student of BBA Program here & I'll always be personally greatful to Mr. Mamun because at my internship he helps me lotz by showing me the right way of conduct. Dear Sumon

We want that different organizations as well as banks should mention Daffodil International University's name with other universities like DU, JU, IBA, NSU in the advertisements where they ask for candidates for different positions in their organizations.  

We want DIU's name enlisted in the advertisements....We should do something for the purpose.

Our CDC should aware of this because CDC is a strong unite of DIU. But I can say that CDC is trying to improve its strategy.
