INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE HOLY QURAN

    The Holy Quran has 30 parts

    The Holy Quran has 114 surahs

    Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem is repeated 114 times in the Quran.

    All except for Surat “Al Tawbah” start with Bismillah al-Rahman al-Raheem.

    Surat “Al Namel, No. 27” has Bismillah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem in its body

    Al-Baqarah is the longest surah in the Quran 

    Al-Kawthar is the shortest surah in the Quran

    Milk is the best drink mentioned in the Quran

    Honey is the best food thing mentioned in the Quran

    The best month is Ramadan

And whosoever keepeth his duty to Allah, Allah will appoint a way out for him. And He provides for him from (sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his trust in Allah, Allah will be sufficient for him.


[65. Surah At-Talaq : Ayah 2-3]

Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The Parable of His Light is as if there were a Niche and within it a Lamp: the Lamp enclosed in Glass: the glass as it were a brilliant star: Lit from a blessed Tree, an Olive, neither of the east nor of the west, whose oil is well-nigh luminous, though fire scarce touched it: Light upon Light! Allah doth guide whom He will to His Light: Allah doth set forth Parables for men: and Allah doth know all things.

"Do not treat people with contempt, nor walk insolently on the earth. Allah does not love the arrogant or the self-conceited boaster. Be modest in your bearing and subdue your voice, for the most unpleasant of voices is the braying of the ass." (The Holy Qur'an, Surah Luqman - 31:18-19)

"They question you about the Hour of Doom [O Mohammad], when will it come? But why should you be concerned with its exact timing? The final word concerning it belongs to your Lord. Your mission is merely to warn those who fear it. On the day when they see that hour, it will seem to them that their life on earth had spanned only one evening, or one morning."

‎"The foolish one addresses me with words of disgrace, but I hate to respond to him in a similar manner. The more ignorant he proves, the more patient I become. Just like the incense; the more it's burnt, the more it releases its fragrance." (Imam ash-Shaafi)

And whoever turns away from My remembrance - Indeed, he will have a depressed life, and We will gather him on the Day of Resurrection blind. [Quran 20:124]

If Allah were to punish people according to what they deserve. He would not leave on the surface of the (earth) a single living creature: but He gives them rest for a fixed Term: when their Term expires, verily Allah has in His sight all His Servants. (Holy Quran [35:45]

Surah Al-Mutaffifin (Those Who Deal in Fraud)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. Woe to Al-Mutaffifin [those who give less in measure and weight (decrease the rights of others)],

    2. Those who, when they have to receive by measure from men, demand full measure,

    3. And when they have to give by measure or weight to men, give less than due.

    4. Think they not that they will be resurrected (for reckoning),

    5. On a Great Day,

    6. The Day when (all) mankind will stand before the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)?

    7. Nay! Truly, the Record (writing of the deeds) of the Fujjar (disbelievers, sinners, evil-doers and wicked) is (preserved) in Sijjin.

29. Verily! (During the worldly life) those who committed crimes used to laugh at those who believed.

30. And whenever they passed by them, used to wink one to another (in mockery);

31. And when they returned to their own people, they would return jesting;

32. And when they saw them, they said: "Verily! These have indeed gone astray!"

33. But they (disbelievers, sinners) had not been sent as watchers over them (the believers).

34. But this Day (the Day of Resurrection) those who believe will laugh at the disbelievers

35. On (high) thrones, looking (at all things).

36. Are not the disbelievers paid (fully) for what they used to do?

Surah An-Naas Mankind)

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful

    1. Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of mankind,

    2. "The King of mankind,

    3. "The Ilah (God) of mankind,

    4. "From the evil of the whisperer (devil who whispers evil in the hearts of men) who withdraws (from his whispering in one's heart after one remembers Allah) ,

    5. "Who whispers in the breasts of mankind,

    6. "Of jinns and men."

"And worship your Lord until there comes unto you the Hour that is certain (i.e. death)."
