DIU information through SMS service

We are already getting our result through SMS. Can't we think about more SMS services like, SMS Notice, SMS Accounts information, SMS Admission information, SMS Semester Schedule, SMS News and Events, SMS CDC Info. (for latest news of workshop, seminar, program etc.). It will make more easier to keep update and connect with DIU.

SMS Notice: When a student will do registration for this service s/he will get all update notice in his/her mobile and their will be no chance to miss any notice.

SMS Accounts information: A student a can get accounts related all information.

SMS Admission information: Through this service new comers or those who are interested to get admission easily can get information.

SMS Semester Schedule: It will make easy to get semester schedule.

SMS News and Events: We can keep ourselves update through this service.

SMS CDC Information: CDC plays a vital role in our university, they organize different types of programs, workshops, seminars etc. It will be easy to get update news.

Dear Debashish,already we have planned to provide such services specially accounts information, notice.Through this service students can easily check their dues.Just we need some more time to make it successful.hopefully in near future you all will get the benefit.

Yes, we can provide the students with all information through SMS. But i think empowering students with IT is more important. You know, many students don't use computer or internet on regular basis. They don't even check their e-mail accounts. Many students told me, "sir, what should i do as i forgot my password?" Such is the general situation of the students..We have to make them habituate with computer and internet, first of all....at the same time, we will be trying to introduce all those that you asked for in near future...
